Kids.

Kids have NO manners these days.

We went to Shoney's tonight. I ordered my drink, then went to the bathroom, where there was a little girl (maybe 10) who was walking in front of me. She held the door for me and said "Go ahead.." I said "Thanks.." as I am walking by, she says "Whoa!"

So, I do my business and flush - and she flushes.

Then I am washing my hands and she comes out of her stall and says "You are really biiiig!" and she holds her arms out their lenght - I said "Hmm?" she says "You are BIIIIG! real big!" I said "Oh yeah." all nonchalantly. She watches me, eyeing me as I turn the facet off and get a paper towel and as I am walking out the door I said "And you need to learn manners."

As I am telling my mom about it, Tony, the shift-leader at Shoney's was easedropping (our table was by the front desk) - he says "Children are so rude! You want me to go spit in her food? because I totally will." I said "No, that's okay..."

Knowing that he wouldn't even if I had said "Yea!", it was still nice of him to offer.
