Transparent hill.

Different time, different place.
Things change so quickly when theres no lace.

From friends to lovers, back again.
Who knew the sweet beauty of such sin?

Life and love so complicated within the soul.
Where was my heart once was is just a lump of ragged coal.

The machine that I am cannot let me trust.
I continuously find myself lying beside him and only feeling hateful lust.

Your heart is home to mine.
Soulmates forever, softly intertwined.

Choosing which battle to fight for - and what to let be.
My love, I'm right here beside you, why can't you see?

This tug of war beneath our feet.
Matters between us are never perfectly nice & neat.

The flutter of butterflies has turned to moths.
I'm losing you to this at what cost?

You bring out the side of me no one else sees.
Everything fades when you touch me and whisper 'please?'

Empty thoughts, shattered dreams.
Love so stoic, life together yet unseen.

Back again in your arms.
Forgetting all others with pretty smiles and lots of charm.

You and me, this passion is real.
No matter how many times we have to climb back up hill.
